Soda Pop

Hello,
I recently saw that Mountain Dew has "brominated vegetable oil" in it's ingredients. Also, saw that the grapefruit soda ( think it's called Fresca ??) has vegetable oil in it. I was just wondering if any of your PA/TNA allergic children have problems drinking soda. My daughter doesn't drink any at the moment and if allowed in the future will pretty much be on special occasions. However, her relatives drink lots of soda and just wanted to know how safe it is. I sent an email to Pepsi, but need to call. Thanks in advance for any help.

Interesting that you mention this. Rebecca, who is PA/TNA also gets migraines. So, although she drinks soda, it is always caffeine free and NEVER diet. Something to think about.
BTW, that eliminates both Mountain Dew (caffeine) and Fresca(diet).

Remember, "vegetable" oil can mean lots of things. I do not think this is peanut oil. I know my son has had this pop. Check the company for sure, but it should not be a problem. Take care, Amy
