My 10yo peanut allergic son had a chance to eat an M&M type candy for the very first time in his life. Vermont Nut Free now makes a candy called Skippers and, of course, they're even better than M&Ms. I loved M&Ms as a kid and I'm thrilled my son finally gets to eat something similar. So is he.

We've found the only chocolate we can trust outside Vermont Nut Free are the chocolate chips from Guitard which you can buy in a local grocery store. Otherwise, we order all our chocolate products from Vermont Nut Free.

We're heading off for a mini-vacation so I won't have a chance to respond to follow-ups. Still, I had to spread the word: Skippers are great!

We ordered some of these as well. They should be arriving today. We paid extra for priority mail. It is supposed to be 96* today with a heat index of 107*. I hope they arrive in the morning!

Thanks for the review! Only one of my kids likes smarties (canadian) so only one would eat the skippers but dh and I would both eat them. When it gets cooler I'm going to place an order with VNF.

I sure wish I could get guittard here. They used to have them at Sam's but haven't for a couple of years now. None of the grocery stores within 70 miles or so has them. We have been using hershey's.
