does anyone have a safe tahini that they use? Joyva Corp. says there may be cross contam. in their roasters w/nuts (no peanuts)but that is not good for us.
Also, any leads on safe sesame oil?

I just found what seems to be a safe tahini. I called the manufacturer while still in the store. It is Peloponnese brand (distributed by Melting Pot Foods), and the CSR said there is no chance of x-contamination with peanuts. She said that everything is wqashed twice between allergens. But also, the jar says it is a product of Greece (I don't think they have much in the way of peanuts in their diet) and I saw no other products by this company that would contain peanuts (although my store may not carry everything they make).
