Wow Cindy! I haven't been around in a long
time and just decided to pop in and check
the recipe board. You have some great
recipes here. There's many I want to try
but some have egg and I wonder if an egg
substitute will work. I guess there's only
one way to find out. We use Lawry's
Season Salt a lot. I am definitely going
to try this. Thanks again for all the
hard work in typing all of these recipes!
I'll have to warm up the old printer.

ihatepeanuts, I have a couple of confessions to make! I was actually going to post a whole new thread once I had finished posting all of the recipes (I haven't yet). First of all, I had received the Brand Names Cookbook as an attachment in an e-mail. It was my DH that pointed out how this might be useful on this site because a lot of us don't feel comfortable with the "real" thing. So, I decided to post two recipes a night (I've neglected to do so in the last week or so).

At any rate, because it was already in e-mail form, on the computer, I simply had to go to the recipe I wanted (there were quite a few with peanuts/nuts in them), right click to Select All, then Control C. I came in here and started the section up to Post a New Topic. I went Control V. The recipe was on the board! It was that easy. This, of course, is all due to Cayley's Mom giving me very clear instructions (remember a 42 year old brain would need VERY CLEAR instructions) as to how to do this! It is simply amazing.
I remember how time consuming it was to post the Safe Snack and Lunch List at the beginning of the school year! If it wasn't for Cayley's Mom, none of these would be showing up, believe me!

The other thing is, I haven't tried any of the recipes that I've posted en masse. So, I'm hoping if someone does try them they will come in and post about whether the recipe was good or bad and then we could consider it "tried and true". The only recipes that I have posted that are "tried and true" are the Carrot Muffin, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffin, and Tabouli Salad recipes as these are ones I use frequently.

I have had a lot of people thinking that I was a great recipe maker person and always cooking and baking. Perhaps I should have let everyone continue to think that! But no, I haven't tried any of them yet.

Oh, and the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Zucchini Loaf recipe, Cayley's Mom gave me permission to post it and it is "tried and true" by her.

Best wishes!
