I thought it was the responsibility of a school district to educate a child. A public education is a right, isn't it? So if the district cannot create a safe environment for a child, isn't it the districts responsibility to educate that child at home?
I was thinking about nutternomore, and the parents complaining about spending money on a nurse and how they should homeschool. Wouldn't it be more expensive to send teachers to their child?

What I believe to be the most ignorant part of the parents complaint about the hiring of that nurse, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't she be on staff for ALL of the children? Seems like a win/win situation to me. I would think that hiring a professional like that could be a potential benefit for any child at that school.
