Can you please share with me what kind of annual training your child's school staff gets in regards to identifying and treating allergic reactions?

I am still in shock that our district does not employ a nurse and am concerned that their training is minimal.

Please help.

Thank you.

Do you know what resources the nurse uses (videos/handouts/etc) and/or what she goes over? Our school currently watches the link on epipen.com and that is it. It seems they might need more so I am wondering what other schools do.

The school nurse does it. She trains the staff with an Epipen trainer. She also uses two videos: It only Takes One Bite and a video put out by the Epipen manufacturer.
