I have yet to try this, but I just saw it at my local health food store:

Temptations Premium Non-Dairy Frozen Desert

www.welovesoy.com

From their website:
"All of our products are manufactured in on dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free, and treenut-free equipment in a plant that is ALSO dairy-free, egg-free, peanut-free, and treenut-free.

MOST OTHER NON-DAIRY FROZEN DESSERT MANUFACTURERS MAKE THEIR PRODUCTS ON SHARED EQUIPMENT IN PLANTS THAT USE DAIRY, EGGS, PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS. NOT US.

It is SO important to us that our allergy-aware customers feel safe when eating our products. Everyone who works here is vegan, so that means no one is even bringing dairy or eggs into the plant for lunch... and we're all allergy-aware ourselves because we've had this special vegan diet for over 10 years each.

We use GLUTEN in two of our products (CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH and PEACH COBBLER), but they are not made on the same production equipment. Celiacs and gluten-intolerants can eat the remainder of our products without worry."

Sounds pretty impressive! They are based in the Chicago, IL area, so I don't know how far they distribute. I am in NY state. I'll let you know how it is when I try some!

Thanks for posting! We've had a really hard time finding a frozen dessert free of milk, egg and nut contamination! I hope I can find them here on the west coast - I will certainly be on the look out for this now!

Wow! This sounds great. While I am not allergic to dairy, we do keep kosher at home. I would love to try some. I am in CT.... do you know where we can get some?

Unfortunately, their website does not have a list of stores where you can find it. I saw it at our local health food store (it's not a chain store). If you want to contact them to ask, their # from the website is 630.629.9667, and their email is info@welovesoy.com .

Hope this helps!

Greeting From Chicago Soydairy, makers of Temptation soy "ice cream"!
Its amazing where you find people talking about our product! It wasn't all that long ago that we were making this stuff in a basement for a few stores in town. Now we have national distribution (almost) and people we don't know are talking about us. Very cool, and I thank you all for showing interest.
For those who are interested in trying this stuff, I want to let you know that we will be in Wholefoods all around the country very soon (End Of Febuary hopefully). Otherwise, it is available at Heatlh Foods stores in the Midwest, and is now available on the east coast. We just got distribution to the east coast so we are not in many stores yet. If you live on the east coast and want to try the best allergy free soy ice cream of the planet, please print off the following info from our website and give it to your favorite grocery and ask them to get it in.
Thanks for your interest and help.

I finally found their products at a Whole Foods in Massachusetts. My PA daughter loves the chocolate and cookie dough flavors.

We finally bought some too, and it's really quite good! None of that weird gummy after-taste. We've just stuck with 'conventional' flavors so far, but we're going for some of the other ones now

Thanks for leading us in this direction!

We just picked some up at whole foods. DD loves it. She had her first "ice cream cone". DH and I tasted it too and it is really good. I am impressed.

My 5-year-old son who is allgeric to egg, peanuts and dairy told santa this year that he wants ice cream for Christmas!!!

Luckily, we live in the CHicagoland area so this product was available in out local Wholefoods (local is about 80 miles rt). But in a sleigh, it's much quicker!!

When he woke up on Christmas morning, there was a note on the table telling him to look in the freezer. It was FILLED with every flavor of Temptation ice cream. You should have seen his face light up!!

And his parents like it just as much as he does!

I really wish we could get it at Trader Joe's, though. It's REALLY expensive.

We just discovered this fairly recently as well, and my DS goes crazy for it! We bought an ice cream maker last summer, which is great, but sometimes we just don't have the freezer space for that big container or the time/energy to make it ourselves! This has been such a fabulous alternative!

Wish we could have access to all their flavors, but we'll take what we can get.

Yes, I do agree it's kinda expensive.
