Confiscated from a birthday party treat bag -- Nabisco's Ritz Bits Cheese Sandwiches, last ingredient: Peanuts! It was difficult to read, too, because there was some sort of ID number stamped on top of the word. Come on Nabisco, do you have to dump them in everything? I can understand yout frustration! I seem to recall that when I called Nabisco about the peanuts in the cheese ritz bits they stated that they list peanuts in the ingredients for the Ritz Bits cheese crackers because they make the same exact cracker snack w/peanut butter filling as well. (This was over 2 years ago, so I am assuming this is still the reason).Since these two items are manufactured together (I think on the same lines), they list peanuts in the ingredients. Although I was not happy that we could no longer enjoy them, I appreciated the fact that they labeled them correctly.

As frustrating as all of this is, we eat a lot of Nabisco products in our house. They are one of the manufacturers I am more likely to trust when it comes to labeling. Take care!
