Quaker Sweet Crunch Cereal - Canadian Specific

Here is the e-mail response I received from Quaker Canada this morning in regard to queries I had regarding the safety of their Sweet Crunch Cereal for PA children as well as their labeling practices in Canada.

Quaker Sweet Crunch is a peanut/nut free product. If it did contain
peanuts/nuts, it
would be listed in the ingredient listing. If it was made on a line with
another product
that contained peanuts/nuts, there were would be a "May contain traces
of"
warning
directly under the ingredient listing. We do always suggest that you check
the
ingredient listings on a regular basis as this can change without notice
(other than the
ingredient list)

At this time, the only cold cereal that we produce that has nuts in it is
Quaker Harvest
Crunch, which contains almonds.

I hope this information is useful.
