pizza flavored Pringles

At the grocery store yesterday, I checked on the pizza flavored Pringles. I thought I saw a post on this site about them, but just did a search and found nothing. The last ingredient listed was peanut oil. I did not check the other varieties.

My DH brought home a can of pizza flavored Pringles last night. Of course I flipped!!
I picked up the can to show him that it listed peanut oil - I've seen it listed many times.

Well, to my surprise - no peanut product was listed. I assumed that the peanut oil was now probably hidden in the "natural flavoring" .

This morning I called Procter and Gamble to find out why peanut oil was not listed on the can.

I spoke to a very nice rep at 1-800-568-4035 (USA) and she said that I need to continue to read the label, BUT the company no longer uses peanut oil or any form of peanut product in the Pizza flavored Pringles!

She said that some of the older cans of Pringles may still be on the shelves - so besure to read the label!

I did not ask about cross contamination or any thing else - so please make your own calls.

I am just so excited that they are starting to "get it"!
