(see my Softasilk Cake flour thread).
The rep told me Pillsbury is now using "May contain..." statements. It applies when a product is in plant with the allergen AND when manufactured on same line. I told the rep I was comfortable with same plant but not same line. He was unable to tell me which it was since they are now using "may contain" for both situations. I told him I couldn't use the cake flour then and he apologized.
It gets harder everyday to make a cake from scratch!!! Now I'll have to sub homemade cake flour too!!!
can't find the post so here's the email but pls note this is 2 years old:
Thank you kindly for the note to White Lily. We do not use, process, or
warehouse peanuts in our facility. Also, our Bread Flour product and
process is manufactured on production lines and machinery solely dedicated
to flour and corn meal products.
I hope this information is helpful,
Sincerely,

I always use Gold Medal flour although I don't know if they have cake flour. The regular works just fine. Also think I called White Lily (?)2 years ago. I probably posted their response but I don't use them anymore so I would check on it. luvmyboys
