Wow! Pepperidge Farm & FAAN are teaming up in Food Allergy Awareness? Just got off the phone with Pepperidge Farm to find out info on some of their products. The woman I spoke to was very allergy aware and asked me if I knew about FAAN and was a member!?!?! She then said that Pepperidge Farm was teaming up with FAAN to promote allergy awareness. Didn't go into what exactly that will entail, but sounds like a good start!
I have been put on a food committee for my DS's 1st grade "Teddy Bear Picnic" at the end of the month. There are a couple other PA kids so I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row. Everyone has their own comfort zone... We actually got them to NOT serve their usual PB & J's so that is a start!!! This is a small town with many "traditions" and the Teddy Bear Picnic is one.

I use a lot of peppridge farm products. glad to hear this too!!
The company was founded by a mom who had a son with severe food allergies and hence had to start baking everything. I wonder about the shared facilities or lines though. There was no statement about allergens (other than the company history) when I last looked a couple of weeks ago.
