Pediatric allergist - recommendation for Manhattan?

I've just read Dr. Sicherer's book, The Complete Peanut Allergy Handbook, which is very good but unfortunately I can't get in to see him until February '06 and I need to see someone now -- a pediatric allergist who can help us with a plan to manage my 21-month old's PA and TNA. Someone who is aware of the complexities involved in managing such an allergy.

The pediatric allergist who diagnosed my DD was horrible. He gave me the news over the telephone and when I asked if he wanted to see my DH and me for a follow-up to discuss going forward, he said he didn't see a reason for that! I would never take my daughter to him again. Anyway, any recommendations would be terrific.
