Vermont Nut Free Chocolates has come out with a version of M&M's that is totally nut free! They are called Skippers and look just like M&M's (without the letter "M" on them.. and there are no blue ones) They taste better than M&M's because the chocolate quality is better. My PA son is SO happy! We've ordered five pounds already because I can't keep my DH away from them!

Wee have a little bit of Skippers left from our order. They are very good quality, highly recommended. I usually order myself some of their truffles - these are soooo good. You need to eat them s-l-o-w-l-y to savor every bite.

I just put in my first order to Vermont Nut Free...since the shipping is crazy and I have to get the icepak thing (it was 80 here in Tucson today)...I pretty much ordered a sample of everything. Can't wait for it to get here! I can't remember the last time I had a truffle that I didn't have to make myself!!!

You won't be sorry you paid the extra for shipping and the ice pack. I used to live in Calif. and I had to get ice packs with every order. It's still worth it. The chocolate is so good and to know my son can eat it without worry is priceless.

...just got my order...

yum! love the raspberry truffles and mocha truffles, and the caramel squares. Not too crazy about the Smurtles (they need to be dunked in chocolate...the caramel sticks to the wrapper...)

I'm indifferent to their M&Ms...I think I like Cadbury Mini-eggs better (the only comparison I have).

I'm sure the person who had to write out my "gift tag" got a laugh, "Happy Birthday to me!"

(ugh, turning 31 next week!)

We just got our order from panhandlepremium -- Smarties from Canada (Nestle's version of M&M's). The shipping was fast, way cheaper than Vermont Nut Free. I have to say, for the kids, chocolate is chocolate. The Vermont Nut Free and Smarties taste totally different. If anyone remembers what Nestle crunch bars taste like -- that's the chocolate in Smarties. VNF tastes like M&M's. Two different flavors -- I think I'd still order from both - but maybe VNF during winter so I don't have to worry about the extra shipping & gel pack costs. Smarties have cool colors -- blue, purple, pink, green, yellow, etc. It's a toss up - but it is nice to have options.
