Wasn't there a company someone had listed before that you could order chocolate bars
that were from a peanutfree business?
Son likes it and other kids eat in front of
him and I am too afraid to give him any!!
Vermont Nut Free sells nut free chocolate. I ordered from them for Cmas and everything came on time, the chocolate tasted great, and they were especially helpful on the phone. Tell them you heard about them through PeanutAllergy net work and a small% goes to help support this network.

Quaker has to be the worst company to call regarding peanut allergy. They just do not have any info to help one make a decision as to whether their products are safe. Basically, their answer was "we cannot be 100% sure, so don't use our products" They (I spoke to four different persons) extremely unfriendly and difficult. On the other hand, some companies that are excellent to deal with: General Mills and Kraft.
Krispy Kreme doesn't cook with peanuts but here in SC they sell donuts stuffed with PB. There's a chance of cross-contamination. That's one of our biggest concerns....most places who make food have some type of peanut product there in their kitchen and a peanut could show up anywhere. Just be careful.
