I was wondering if anyone on the board in the general SF Bay area can recommend an outstanding allergist?
We have been seeing our allergist for years, but I'm wondering, from reading some of the things that others write, if he is perhaps too casual about our DDs PAs?
We live on "the Peninsula" but would travel to see someone. We have a PPO insurance, but would pay out-of-pocket if necessary.
Thanks!
Two girls, ages 12 & 15, allergic to peanuts, soy, legumes, most tree nuts, and a few antibiotics.
My kids currently see Joshua Jacobs in Walnut Creek. Previously my oldest saw James Nickelsen in Berkeley.

My daughter goes to Dr. Bocian at PAMC as well (and so does my shellfish allergic mom)! He is absolutely wonderful - very up on the latest research - and takes ALL allergies seriously.

I highly recommend Dr. Robert Bocian of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Palo Alto. He is also on the faculty at Stanford.
He's a very smart guy and a great doctor.
Just google and you'll find him
