Anyone have any experience with Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough? I have yet to find a cookie dough that Drew can have (except homemade, of course). His school has received a donation of sugar cookie dough for the school carnival -- dessert for the meal. I have a call into the company, but just wondered if anyone here already had experience with it.
I used to eat their pre-made cookies at my work. I definitly remember eating their delicious peanut butter cookies, also white chocolate macadamia nut variety. This is in the Seattle area.
I wouldn't consider them safe from my past experience.
My dd just brought home a fundraiser for Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough, brownies & pretzels.

Pretzels are made in a non peanut facility.
Brownies are made in a peanut facility but on dedicated lines.
Cookie dough-
Run non nut dough at the beginning of the week then they switch to the nut kind at the end of the week. On the weekends they run an 8 hour wash then do an alert test. If no traces of nuts are found then they start up again on Monday with non nut dough. If traces found they do another wash.
The rep I spoke with is planning to forward information to Red Apple Morley to include with future fundraiser brochures about their manufacturing processes.
Hope this helps.

I have only seen their muffins and I know some of those have nuts, so it's probably a good idea to avoid anything from them until you are able to speak to the manufacturer.
