Peanut-Free/Nut-Free Directory
Our directory is intended as a resource for people with peanut and nut allergies. It contains foods, helpful products, and much more.
Hi there, my name is Kate and I'm a mom with three youngsters aged 9,7 and 5 who all have nut allergy.
I'm also a freelance writer and I'm currently researching food outlets in the UK.
I'd like to enlist the help of some volunteers from different parts of the UK to visit a local outlet ie. McDonalds, KFC etc and just do a bit of 'hands on' research for us. If you'd like more information, email me please.
The ultimate aim of this project is providing a national magazine with the information - they've commissioned the article already and, a national directory of food outlets who are nut allergy friendly.
Drop me a line, you'll be adding useful information to an invaluable resource.
Many thanks, Kate.

Live in Stevenage and developed peanut, tree nut & sesame allergy early last year @ 40+ ! I only eat @ Pizza Express (http://www.pizzaexpress.co.uk) as they have a "nut" policy and take care. The best of their outlets I have found for being understanding & helpful are :
St Brelade, Jersey (v.good);
St. Helier, Jersey;
Salisbury, Wilts;
Jesus Lane, Cambridge (v.good);
Bow Street, Covent Garden, London (good).
My e-mail address is on my "profile" should you wish to contact me for assistance etc.

Count me in! I'm so glad that something is happening in the UK as I sometimes think that we have a tendency to sweep some things under the carpet. Just say what you want me to do, and I will be glad to help in any way that I can. I live in the West Country.
If you want to e-mail me, feel free.
