Hi, my name is Liz. Our family recently moved from Michigan to Antioch, IL.

Back in Michigan, I started a support group to help me prepare myself (and the community we lived in) for the school issues surrounding food allergies.

Before our move, I contacted the Chicagoland support groups and it seems we have move more North than the existing support groups.

Now, I feel like I'm starting over again. I would love to meet other families who are in Northern Lake County or McHenry County who have food allergic children. I would love to share tips, review the laws protecting our children and work on educating the community around us.

If there is an existing support group in Northern Lake County, I would love to hear about it! If not, let's start one!

If you would be interested in a support group in our area and would like to be added to an email distribution list I'm starting, please email me at FACESofMI@comcast.net.
