Hi Everyone,

I came across a new company called AlertWear a few weeks ago at a local fair
that is producing all non-metal food-allergy and medical awareness bracelets, clothing and more. Since my granddaughter has a severe peanut allergy I decided to pick her up an AllergyWear bracelet and she loves it! I also bought one of the AlertWear bracelets for myself, and I have to say - I love my bracelet too! I just got an email the other day from the company owner telling me her online store is now open at www.alertwear.com. If you are a Canadian (they only are able to take orders from Canada right now apparently) you should check out the website and the products - they're great!

Sincerely,
Nanny

Does it need to be taken off for baths or showers? What about swimming?

When my son needs a new one I'm switching companies - overall not happy with the company that I have been dealing with for 20 years.

(Nanny, if you are actually the owner of the AlertWear company you can post here. Just be open and honest. Hi AnnaMarie!

"Nanny" sent me an email letting me know she posted a message about my company on this website and that you had a few questions. My name is Sue and I am the owner of AlertWear. Nice to 'meet' you!

To answer your question, our bracelets are waterproof and do not need to be taken off for showers, baths or swimming.

For more info on our products please feel free to visit our website (http://www.alertwear.com) and in particular our FAQ's page. And please, feel free to let us know what you think. We are always looking for feedback or suggestions.

Just so you know - I started AlertWear because my daughter has a severe peanut/tree nut allergy and was diagnosed at 2 years of age (She is now 5) and I wanted a bracelet for her that was comfortable, suitable for a small child and non-metal - but couldn't find one at the time. So I decided to design my own! Thus AlertWear was born!

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me anytime. All my contact info is on our website!

Thanks for your interest AnnaMarie!

Sincerely,
Sue

Hi there.

Does anyone know if the Alertwear bracletts are still available? I've tried the link and it doesn't want to work for me. Any info would be great.

Thanks :D
