Hello all,
I stumbled on this board just today and WOW! The information here is astounding!
I have a 5 yo with a severe PA, bad asthma, eczema outbreaks, some cat allergy and a handful of antibiotic allergies. Throw in some hives that like to appear for no reason and we have my Nina. So she started Kindergarted today with an amazing school who has just gone out of their way to accomodate us. Two aditional PA kids are in her class. The school nurse was telling me that every year their PA students multiply exponentially. As sad as that is, it also makes me feel better knowing that my dd is not alone, and that these boards are here to reassure me that I'm not alone either! Anyway, that's my intro. Looking forward to just jumping on in!

You have a great point in the fact that it is great that she isn't alone!! My 17 year old now had to go through it all alone and is still the only one in his grade. He is fine but it would be easier if more people could help in spreading the word of what it is like.
I am glad you seem to be very upbeat and dealing with what you have been dealt. I must be going now but had to WELCOME you to the boards. Take care and best of luck Claire
