New Cook Book!!!

I wanted to share a link to my friends new cook book. She lives just down the street from me, she is a mother of 4 and has 1 child with many mutiple allergies. Like myself, dealign with mutiple allergies can be hard, and stressful. She helped me, gave me a copy of her book when she was trying to get it all together. I loved it, really. I've made alot of the things in it with success. What I liked about her book was she used *everday* ingredients, stuff I could find right in the local grocery store. So if you don't mind me sharing, I'd love to let you know about it!!! Here is the link to the book....

I saw a book on one of the morning shows on Restaurant secret recipes cookbooks. I ordered vol. #1 and #2. I made the Applebee's Blondie Brownies. SO good!! I just use my safe butter, oil, syrup and soy free choc. chips. (and leave out the nuts also) Will be trying more recipes to cook at home.

Where do you get soy free chocolate chips? My PA daughter is also allergic to soy. She LOVES chocolate!

I have tried several and they are all so good.

I usually buy 4 -2lb bags at a time.
I use them for all my chocolate baking.
Also, you should be able to use Hershey's Coco.
I use that also for all baking with choc that isn't chips. There are several great recipes on the coco can itself. Cans have different recipes on different cans. Every recipe is my favorite.
I just bake everything from scratch at home for goodies. Tastes so much better than store bought too. And I know it is safe. That makes it a little easier to deal with. Good luck with her soy allergy. I know it is so hard.
