Egg Allergy and Hatching Chicks at School

Hi. My three year old daughter is attending preschool. In April, the school is planning to place an incubator with eggs to hatch in each classroom. Has anyone had a positive or negative school experience with egg allergy and hatching chicks at school? Thanks.

Thanks for your message. I don't know if she is allergic to bird feathers. She is contact and ingestion allergic to eggs. We do not know if she is airborne allergic, because we do not cook eggs in our house or frequent restaurants when eggs would be cooking.

Is she allergic to bird feathers? I am allergic to eggs and bird feathers.
Usually, if you are egg allergic you are allergic to the egg white or egg yolk. I think this is a decision you need to make based on what you feel is best for your daughter.
