I am so happy that I had to share this!

Today was DS first day of safety camp. He is 5 and has never been to camp or any other drop off thing (other than school). Our county offers these , they are run by the sherrif's department, and they are free. It is basically a 5 day camp to teach 5 and 6 year olds about all aspects of safety - bicycle safety, strangers, fire, crossing the street, etc. But the best part is it's staffed by police officers and EMTs. It is a 3 hour camp so NO FOOD is allowed! And there are EMTS and ambulances right there the entire time.
When I enrolled him several months ago I filled out paperwork explaining his allergies, asthma, and meds. Today when we arrived the EMT came right to us and introduced herself to DS and myself and asked ALL the right questions! First thing she said was "is he contact sensitive?" I was like "YAHOO!!" someone who actually gets it!

For the first time ever I didn't worry at all about leaving him. (the only other place I've ever left him is school)

I don't know if this camp is offered in other states or if we are just really lucky - but its definately worth checking into. It is really popular here and fills up fast.
