Venus Williams Introduces McDonald's New Fruit & Walnut Premium Salad

McDonald's latest offering, the Fruit & Walnut premium salad, includes premium fresh fruit: sliced apples and red seedless grapes, with a side of low-fat vanilla yogurt and candied Diamond walnuts to sprinkle on top. The salad is now available nationwide for an anytime meal or snack. Tennis star Venus Williams says to be the best at what she does, she has to work hard and eat well.

Corporate Headquarters said that walnuts are prepackaged and then consumer can put on salad.

Still I worry about them being in the store..They are like a candied walnut, I had the salad when in CA (w/o DS). Very messy and hard to eat with the spork they give you!

One more worry just like the pre-pkg peanuts for the sundaes.

Yeah, I bought my kids sausage biscuits this morning and brought it home for them. My pa boy was ready to take a bite and I remembered that they asked if I wanted the new salad for breakfast.

I took the biscuit away from him because I was afraid that they sprinkled the salads and then prepared the biscuit.

I'm at least glad to hear they are prepackaged. I will check out our McDs and see if they leave them that way also.
