Peanut butter suspected in salmonella cases
100 cases in 37 states prompt FDA, CDC to probe Peter Pan brand

CHICAGO - U.S. health officials said Wednesday they are investigating a possible link between peanut butter and more than 100 salmonella cases in 37 states.
ConAgra Foods Inc. the maker of Peter Pan brand peanut butter, has been contacted by the Food and Drug Administration, ConAgra spokesman Chris Kircher said, adding that the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were looking at the possibility that peanut butter was the cause of the salmonella cases. Other companies have also been contacted.

My son had Salmonella(my 3yr old, back when he was 1 1/2) NOT fun, NOT fun at all(in the hospital for 3 days)!!!!
