Hi Everyone!
I am forwarding the following message, received from Karen Eck, Ottawa Support Group. (Karen lives in Quebec, across the river from Ottawa.) Such a simple idea that visually helps to tell our story.
If a NASK member would like to coordinate the same type of project for our group, please contact Debbie Monroe-Fessler at debmjf@becon.org. Family photos would also be good.
Groups elsewhere are invited to do likewise.

As you likely know, the theme of the May 16 Queen's Park Day is

Subject: Queen's Park Day - May 16, 2005 - MPP Contact List
Hello All - On behalf of Bill 3, we seek Ontario families wishing to visit their MPP at Queen's Park to express the importance of Bill 3 - An Act to Protect Anaphylactic Students.
At a minimum, we seek families that live in the constituency areas of the MPP's listed below (other constituencies are most welcome). Please let me know if you, or someone you know, plans to be part of the May 16th, 2005 morning agenda at Queen's Park. We will help schedule visits that will take place from 9 until noon on May 16th to these MPP's and others. The purpose and desired outcome of the visits will be scripted so that our message is clear and consistent. This message will be developed next week. In the meantime, we must start organizing now.
Everyone intending to visit their MPP is required by Queen's Park to have a Security Pass.
It is therefore necessary to confirm your attendance with me, Cindy (nask@sympatico.ca ) before May 12, 2005. When doing so, please provide:
Full name (first and last) of you and/or your family that will visit an MPP
Your MPP's name and riding
All email messages to me will be acknowledged. Please allow 2 or 3 days.
Looking forward to greeting you at a well-coordinated, positive event,
Cindy

Cindy,
Here it is... and, as discussed, it is best to have people visit their own local MPP. If
a person is going to be at Queen's Park and the list of MPPs doesn't include their local
MPP -- have them first visit their own MPP, and then pick one or two from the list...
Premier Dalton McGuinty
Educ. Minister Gerard Kennedy
Health Minister George Smitherman
Justice Minister Michael Bryant
Minister Jim Watson (Ottawa)
Minister James Bradley (Niagara)
John Tory (PC Leader -- Orangeville)
Howard Hampton (NDP Leader -- Thunder Bay)
Kim Craitor (Niagara)
Tim Hudak (Niagara)
Peter Kormos (Niagara)
Frank Klees (PC Educ. critic -- Newmarket)
John Baird (PC Health critic -- Ottawa)
Cam Jackson (Oakville)
Jim Wilson (Collingwood/Alliston)
Rosario Marchese (NDP Educ. critic -- Toronto)
Shelley Martel (NDP health critic -- Sudbury)
Members, Standing Committee on General Government
Linda Jeffery (Chair from Brampton)
Vic Dhillon (Vice Chair from Brampton)
Marilyn Churley (Toronto)
Brad Duguid (Scarborough)
Jean Marc Lalonde (Eastern Ont.)
Deb Matthews (London)
Jerry Ouelle (Oshawa)
John Yakabuski (Pembroke)
Lou Rinaldi (Trenton/Coburg)
Let me know the number of people for meetings and where they are from... I will provide
a short phone script and the contact info so that these people can make the calls
themselves if so desired. Otherwise, what I'll do is contact these MPP offices and let
them know that some representatives (including people from their own riding) wish to see
them on the matter of Bill 3. Either way...

Pardon me if I'm getting this information into threads somewhat backward. However, I'm getting it on here. I'm not clear how many people in Toronto can attend the Queen's Park Day or even the Allergy Expo or if there are people from outside of the Province that are able to attend. I just feel as though it's important information to have. I wonder if Cayley's Mom knows the date that her article is going to be published in The Toronto Star. I know I get the Saturday Star delivered now, but that's it. At any rate, the following:-
