HI,
I know to read labels and I plan on doing that, but my son is due to start preschool 3 days a week at a home preschool program. The teacher wants a list of manufactures that she can trust the labeling on - not that it will be nut free for sure but the company will label safely.
I know I trust -
General Mills
Kraft
Nabisco
Betty Crocker
Frito-lay
I don't "know" for sure all of those companies label for cross containimation but they are in my comfort zone -
Can anyone add some companies? I meet with her to go over the allergies and epipen use at the end of May. She told me she would like me to come in and read labels every am when I drop him off so she can be sure he will be safe.
Another question - he will be at school 3 days a week... is it unreasonable for me to ask that the preschool be peanut free on the other 2 days he is not there?
Thanks,
Andrea
Don't forget Philly Swirl for the days the kids get a cold treat!

Thanks all for your help! Hopefully this list will give the school to be nut free all the time and not just on the days he is there! Any other brands??
