found- a food allergy camp for kids
My son and daughter both have nut allergies and I have been nervous about letting them go off to camp. Last week they were invited to an information meeting to a camp called Camp Blue Spruce. It is a camp only for kids with food allergies. A tear came to my eye when we left and he told me that for a short while he was able to just be a kid and not have to worry about food.
I talked with the director of the camp and it sounds like I can finally send my kids to a sleep away camp and feel like they can be safe.
They have a web site for more information
