_____

yesterday I was at a friend's house and I
made myself a cheese sandwich on wheat bread. It's the
kind of bread my mom buys, so i wasn't worried about
it. well, about 5 minutes later, my mouth felt kind of
tingly, but not really bad like in previous
occassions. About 5 minutes later, my left eye was
swollen almost shut and watering like i was crying. I
called my mother and she immediately picked me up and
took me to the hospital. Come to find out, my friend's
mother had made peanut butter on crackers the night
before and wiped the counter clean. I guess just the
fact that my bread touched the counter where the
peanuts had been got on my hand and wiped my eye! my
concerns are that I had NO IDEA that anything like
that would ever happpen! There was NO WAY I could have
known... I just wanted to write you and tell you this
because I know you care and you can inform people to
be cautious of where they prepare their food from now
on!

Wow thanks Chris you just shot a bolt of lightening through me. I am so careful but this reminds us that as careful and neurotic you are, there is always a danger. Thanks for waking me up!
