McKee Foods is recalling 64 retail packages of Little Debbie brand Cheddar
on Cheese Crackers because the product may contain undeclared
peanuts. Peanut butter was found in the equipment that processes the
cheese filling for these crackers.
The 7.44-oz.package, containing eight wraps of four crackers each, is
wrapped in printed film, has a suggested retail price of $1.00, and has a
date of SELL BY SEP14.
The product was distributed to retail stores beginning Friday, May 21, in
Delaware (Dover), Maryland (Frederick and Laurel), Virginia, and Washington DC.
Consumers who have purchased this product may return it to the place of
purchase to receive a full refund. Those who have questions may contact the
company at (800) 522-4499.
