Here is the e-mail response I got from the company. (It appears the customer service rep bothered to forward my question to someone who actually knew the answer.)

None of our products contain any milk and eggs in them. We do not have any
peanut oil, meal or other parts in them either. We do have a few products
that contain shea butter which comes from a tree nut in west africa. The
products that contain the shea butter are primarily the lip sparklers and
lip burst smoothies. I have not heard of any allergies ever related to
this ingredient, but I would first check with you doctor or allergist prior
to letting your child use these specific products.
None of our flavors or fragrances contain any peanut ingredients in them
either.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact our
customer service department here at The Bonne Bell Company.

Sincerely,

Paul Breha
R&D Chemist

My question to them was:
My daughters have allergies to peanuts, milk, and eggs. These are
potentially life-threatening. Can you please tell me if any of your
smackers products contain any of these allergens (including in the
flavor/fragrance)? Also, are your smackers run on the same production line
as another product that may contain peanuts, milk, or eggs?

I am not sure but I actually think they have a peanut butter flavour lip smacker. I remember seeing it in the store and almost tossing my supper. I am pretty sure it was Bonne Bell. You may want to check.

I hope I am wrong because I will have to make sure my PA son doesn't kiss any girls. Could you imagine the consequence.....LOL

We were at Target and my son picks up this lip balm in a bin by the trail size items and it looks like a Reese's PB cup, but is actually lip balm. I have no idea what it has in it because I freaked and made him drop it, explaining that it was made to look like PB candy, and we left the area. Do they have to make PB lip balm? Has anyone else seen this stuff? I wish now I had look to see who made it.

I saw Butterfinger lip balm at The Party Store over the weekend. I looked at the label, but I had my kids with me, so I had trouble getting a good look. I'm not sure what exactly is in it.

I was helping a friend with some paperwork the other night and she pulls out some of that Reese's Peanutbutter Cup Lip Balm.
Weelll, I got her out of my house as politely as possible and had my daughter take some Benedryl and a bath. I have been looking into it though and it would seem there's no actual peanut in it? Still wouldn't let my daughter anywhere near it...at least not knowingly.
