The following book has been helpful to me in knowing the right questions to ask for my food allergy daughter. I have more confidence in eating out and have learned to ask about "hidden" allergens that I would have never know about. I also learned alot of great tips about the various types of cuisines and they way the food is prepared. Also has tips on snacks, traveling, etc. Here's the intro below...
The first book dedicated to eating around the corner and around the world while managing ten food allergens including: peanuts, tree nuts, corn, dairy, eggs, fish, gluten, shellfish, soy, and wheat. This full color book gives over 300 million people in the Western world impacted by specialized diets the freedom to eat what and where they want with confidence and ease.

The authors of the book are Kim Koeller and Robert LaFrance. I am a mom of a 2 yr old food allergy child with many allergies including peanut. I came across the book in an allergy meeting and thought it was a great concept with helpful information since I had not been able to find much information on eating out. It turned out I knew one of the authors and I been involved in getting the word out so others can benefit from the book. It worked out great as many other moms do, I spend alot of time researching for recipes, ideas, etc
