I found this terrific site for alternative medic alert bracelets. I purchased one and I've had a lot of compliments on the looks of the bracelet. I can change the "bracelet" to match outfits. They also have a good selection for older guys. For those of us that know someone who is having a difficult time with their braceletes because of the attention an average bracelet wears, this is really a great resource. Their website is www.laurenshope.com I had already purchased a MedicAlert bracelet and just changed the alert tag between the two bracelets so now I have the peace of mind of having the medicAlert service with a "fashionable" bracelet. Their service was great and the bracelets are even nicer than their picture!

I got one of the crystal ones for dd for Xmas. We also used an old Medic Alert tag and it fits in the clasps fine. It is really pretty and she likes having a dressier alternative to her normal silver one.
