Does anyone know of any PA aware restaurants in Lancaster, PA? DH wants to take DS to see my nephew play basketball tonight and will need to find a restaurant nearby as it is 1.5 hours away from where we live. Thanks!

i was there years ago, We have been there several times. I cant remeber where we ate. We ate at a barn one night, maybe Amish Barn. We did eat in alot of places. Stay away from family style places where you would sit with other people. they have those there. I never had an issure there in any resturant.

I have an urgent request...Mathilde is a 15 year old French teenager who is dreaming of visiting the United States. She is one of 29 students due to arrive in Lancaster on Monday. Mathilde has a peanut allergy. i have been unable to find a family that feels comfortable dealing with this situation. I have contacted schools and churches and the newspaper. I am hoping this will be a place i can find a family...quickly!
Mathillde speaks English, German, and Italian. She loves dance (classical modern, and jazz) music and shopping. She plays piano and guitar.

The group will go to DC on the 20th and have a picnic/softball game/pool party on the 24th. They will leave for New York on the 30th and fly home on the 31st.

I live in Lancaster!! That's really bizarre, I just found this forum, just signed up, and saw this post. Anyways, I'm honestly not sure. I know to stay away from Five Guys and Texas Road House.

I can eat from Five Guys, I just cannot go in. Peanut oil us PA people are NOT allergic too!! FYI.

Darn Susan!! We might've been able to help out there... It's a little late now isn't it? :( I'm not sure how she would handle me though, I have a severe case of Tourette's Syndrome which can be very frightening. But our house / family is completely peanut free.
