Hicksville, NY - April 3, 2003 -- J.V. TRADING GLENDALE LTD., 385 W. John St., Hicksville, NY 11801 is recalling jars of HOT SAUCE because they contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

HOT SAUCE was distributed nation-wide through retail stores and wholesale distributors. HOT SAUCE is packaged in 280-gr. glass jars with gold and red labeling, all Chinese writing with red metal screw cap. There is no apparent code on the jars.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
