just back from testing....

I don't have the cap-rast results yet, but the scratch test indicated my Jake is also seasame seed allergic(pretty badly, well...the hive was bad) so we added ALL seeds to his list of foods, and are checking cap rast for sunflower seeds, then the green beans, coconut and some legumes....but the allergist said with his peanut allergy, all the tree nuts and now sesame seeds...to avoid any seed, as well as some of the legumes(but will see how the cap rast results come back). What a mess!

Then for Carson, he is now allergic to some tree nuts, his peanut was negative(but checking caprast anyways, again) but skin- cashew and pecan was positive! We don't eat nuts anymore ever, so I was shocked! What are cashew and pecans related too(like what group of nut are they?? Drupes???).

And wouldn't ya know...Sidney and Carson were allergic to the hamster(which we had to put down, long story)....what a mess my kids are!!!

edit...so what other foods should I be careful with if a child is peanut, all tree nuts, and some seed allergic(like any fruits, since they have seeds) or anything else(we are testing(blood) some legumes, coconut so far)...THANKS
