I will probably delete this tomorrow but I could use some perspective from those of you more tactful than I. I tend to hesitate to speak up but when I do....watch out!
I don't know how to handle it if I get 'attitude' as in "I know what to do - don't need your training" from the 'new' preschool teacher. I can envision myself walking out and leaving ds without a school for this year - NOT what I want to happen. and BTW I will likely delete this tomorrow so please don't quote me.
*edited to delete specific details*
Just a feeling I have that I'm going to get the eyeroll attitude when I train. What would your response be? Should I try to head it off by starting with something like 'I realize you've been thru this before...but even I'm learning things all the time after 5 years managing this. I can put all the plans in place I want but in the end it may come down to a judgement call and the better you understand the better off ds will be'?
Thanks for your tactful help =)

I would just train her like any other teacher---you could say something about how this might seem repetitive, but...
If you get the attitude, eye roll, I wouldn't walk out, but I would definitely address her: "I'm sorry. I noticed you rolling your eyes. Did I say something to offend you or bore you"? Just repeat that you want your son safe and even you, dealing with this every day for 5 years with no breaks, find out new things and also find it helpful to go over management plans.
Good luck! Let me know if you want me to edit/delete and I will do so.
