Hi we are considering having our sons bday party at Caeserland & they provide icecream cups for the kids. They told me they buy it from sam's and that it is Dean's Van. sunday cups. Does anyone Know if it is safe for Peanut and egg allergic people???

Thanks
Kathy

kkeene, you might want to call Dean's about that.

My son eats Dean's ice cream sandwiches, he was eating them for years when I finally called Dean's to check if they were safe.

The woman told me the ice cream sandwiches have no peanut ingredients and the equipment is washed, but other nut flavors are made on the same equipment.

BUT she then told me the only ones made on dedicated equipment were some of the ice cream cups. I don't remember which cups, since I wasn't interested in the cups at that time. This was a few years ago.
