Very cool, someone else has probably seen this if I did in my local variety store (or actually, it was Jesse that spotted it). Hollandia Canada cookies have on their contained "Peanut Free Facility" in quite large enough print, above the ingredient list.

What I thought was especially great about this was that the cookies were mini chocolate chip cookies in a container that one would normally associate with a bulk food store. So, a lot of us wouldn't even look at the container because we'd almost feel as though we'd know what it would say and not bother.

Aside from the chocolate chip, they also had rainbow chip.

I know, I'm fairly sure, that I have posted about Hollandia before, but I thought this "special" labeling of theirs was something that warranted a separate thread.

I don't know if manufacturers do market research studies (well, I know they do those - DUH ) and have found that there are a great number of people that want/need/appreciate the Peanut Free label or what.

This is happening more and more and of course, to me, a PA parent, it's fabulous!

Best wishes!
