Hi All,

Has anyone used Germ X Original handsanitizer with out problems, for PA and TNA??

I called the company and was told that they could not guarantee that the raw materials had not come in contact with Peanuts or tree nuts at one point.

I thought I would check here to see if anyone has had any problems with it..

Thanks for all your help,

Mel-

My ds had a hives reaction from it. It is the only sanitizer that has happened with. I received the same response as you. But my ds is also allergic to dairy and gluten, so it could contain one of those rather than nut products. Who knows?!
We have started using Wet Ones Wipes instead.

We use Purell. We have used Germ-X on occasion without problems. I would never even think of calling about a hand sanitizer. Stupid me!

hand sanitizers are only good for germs, not nut proteins. the wet wipes are your best bet for everything. we use them.

We use purell and I think it is only thing in the whole house that I haven't called about. UGH. And we use wipes without problems.

We've used germ-x with no trouble. And for the record, we use it to kill germs, especially during cold and flu season. We also use dove (the only one that fits in my car door pocket) and purell.

A bit off-topic, but I'll ask anyway: Do Purell and other sanitizers actually help avoid getting colds or the flu? I thought they were antibacterial, but since colds and the flu are caused by viruses, do the sanitizers really help at all to keep you from getting a virus?

Thanks,
Debbie
