Well, yet another company giving out false information. A couple of weeks ago I called Gerber to check on their childrens body washes and such after finding out that J&J may be cross-contaminating their products. I was told by Gerber they use absoultely NO nut oils or extracts of any kind in any of their products! Well, that is a lie! Last night I picked up some of their oatmeal lotion, I have been using the oatmeal body wash for a couple of weeks now so I found the lotion and thought it would be nice to use the combination. Well one of the ingredients in the lotion in sweet almond oil! I am so mad, they totally lied!!!! They also assurred me that they use dedicated lines, so I am calling them today about this. First to make sure that they do use dedicated lines and also to let them know that they lie! Also, the lotion says hypoallergenic on the front, how can they label something hypoallergenic when it has an allergen like nut oil in it! I am so tired of these sick people who don't care about children!
I will be calling today and post what I hear from them tonight. Thanks for listening to my rant!!!

I finally heard back from Gerber. The oatmeal lotion and their mousterizing (sp?) lotion contain almond oil. They said it is real oil from the nut and not anything imitation. They also said that even though they use it in these products there would be no chance at all for cross-contamination. I told her that this may be, but for me, I feel like they already destroyed my trust and I will not use Gerber anymore. It will be Baby Magic for us from here on out!!! Just wanted to update anyone who may be interested in this info.
