My family recently visited Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. I just wanted to say how wonderful they are with people who have food allergies. My daughter has a severe peanut allergy, so I thought I would check out the places to eat inside the park on their website as I always do before we travel. I was happily amazed to see that they not only address food allergy issues on their website, but actually list places to eat that are safe if you have a peanut allergy or nut allergy or other food allergies. Also, upon arriving at Silver Dollar City, right on their park map they have the same guide to let you know where the safe places are to eat. We were able to carry a copy of the park map with all through the day and never had to worry about where we were going to eat. It was very easy to find the safe places. We had a wonderful time! Thank you Silver Dollar City!

The new website has a dining subsite with allergy category options. Guests can choose which allergen they would like to avoid and are given a list of restaurants they can eat at while in the park. Unfortunately, there are no peanut free nor tree nut free options which are safe to eat. How sad.
