I appologize if there is already one like this around but I have never met another person with food allergies in the 19 years since my family and I have found out about it. I've heard of maybe one other in my area. So I'm wondering if there are any others in Utah and if there is some kind of a support group that I haven't found.

Hello Scm1990,

I did a very quick Google Search and found http://www.utahfoodallergy.org/
and http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=69644506135 (same group).

Have you tried contacting them?

Hi,
I'm from UT. My PA son is 3 years old.
We have the Utah Food Allergy Network Forum.

http://www.utahfoodallergy.org/

The "first annual"walk for food allergies in Salt Lake was last year in October. We had a great turnout.

Here is a clip on the news:

This event really helped to raise awareness about UFAN.

I hope this helps.

Mila

I would love to participate in a walk like that...I don't live in Utah, but my family travels often, so it might be plausible. Is there going to be another one?
