I have been allergic to peanuts since I was 4 and I am now 12. I have never met another PA like me. Is there any support groups in Alabama?
Sometimes you put walls up,
not to keep people out.
But to see who cares enough
to break them down.
FAAN is great!
I would also ck out AAFA.org The asthma allergy foundation of america.
They have been great for me if FAAN doesn't work out for you.
There are also sometimes smaller non affiliated support groups around. Ck in with your allergist about local groups.

Online Support Groups
FAAN (Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network) lists one support group in East Alabama (Auburn area). I don't know if that's close to you. Here's the contact person:
Contact Email: bkg2007@bellsouth.net
FAAN also has a support network for kids and teens. Talk to your parents and check out both sites and see which one fits better for you:
www.faankids.org
www.faanteen.org
It's great you are seeking out other kids with peanut allergy. I'm sure you know this, but be careful when reaching out to others online and keep your parents informed about the sites you are visiting.
Good luck!
