Peanut-Free/Nut-Free Directory
Our directory is intended as a resource for people with peanut and nut allergies. It contains foods, helpful products, and much more.
We are Canadians travelling to the States in December and looking for a list of SAFE manufacturers. I was just informed that the States does not have a 'may contain law'. Is there somewhere I can access a list of basic food manufacturers that list may contain??
We will be in Orlando for 1 week and cooking most food ourselves. I am bringing spices that we know are safe, but looking for the names of companies that are safe for such things as:
Cooking Oil
Bread
Chips
Grits
Cereals
Ect.....
Also: Any restaurants that are safe in case we want to treat ourselves.
Thanks for your input :)

So Canada requires the "may contain" label? That would be so nice. I've been telling my husband we need to move to Canada so that my DD has more food options. What about the schools? Are there any peanut-free schools? Are restaurants required to disclose allergens on their menu?
