Hello! I'm still new to this PA thing. We live in Spain but will be in the US for the month of July visiting family. In oreder to avoid restaurants as much as possible, I'd like to plan to take lunches with us when possible when we go out, but I don't know what I need to look out for. I know to be careful about bread, and some say cold cuts from the deli could be xc. What about packaged cold cuts-- does anyone know of brands to avoid, stuff to be careful of, stuff that is safe? We are avoiding tree nuts as well.
What about stuff like potato chips etc? Obviously we will bring fruits and veggies and stuff, but I want to have more options.
Thanks!

We eat Utz brand potato chips. They go into quite a bit of detail about the use of peanut oil at their plant. I understand that Frito Lay is also safe.
Not sure about packaged cold cuts. We eat them with no problem. I understand they are supposed to be safer than what is available at the deli counter. Interested to hear other info on this question.
Good questions!
