Rita's Italian Ice stores are no longer peanut-allergy friendly. Puts them in same category as Dairy Queen for cross-contamination. From the nutritional Q&A on the rita's web site:

Rita’s now offers M&M’s® Minis®, Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s® Pieces® and Heath® English Toffee candies as Blendini™ Mix-ins. We take food allergies seriously and make every effort to help prevent the crossover of allergens into other products. However, it is important to understand that through preparation and production, cross-contamination may occur.
For more details concerning allergens please refer to the allergen chart in the Nutrition Info section of our website under the Cool Treats tab.

***they also list a chocolate peanut butter ice on their ice flavors, so i suppose that could contaminate the ice machine for other flavors as well

very, very disappointing!!
