My mom has this food strorage area in our basement. I went down to get a bag of chips and i saw trail mix. So i picked it up then remembered that they don't check the ingredients anymore so i read the ingrediants and geuss what it said "Peanuts" in bold prints. I picked up everyother bag we have and they all said "Peanuts" now normally it doesn't bother me but this has happened many times before. This was literaly the tenth time and i bearst into tears and fell to the ground. I really wanted someone to talk to about it. I know my family wouldn't know anything about this. So now i found this site and i need someway to get it off my chest. The only time i burst into tears is when i can't have anything. I hate being allergect to peanuts and when you cant eat things other kids eat they stare and start rumors. Then i remember god made me this way for a reason that i have no idea yet. This is my story and i don't want pity.

Hi prisonflower,
You know having this allergy to peanuts is hard, my daughter has one too and also gets frustrated if it restricts her, but I always tell her it will make her a stronger person. Most of the most successfull people in life have had something tough to overcome. You will also be more understanding of others and be better able to deal with the hurdles life throws at everyone.
Chin up, maybe you should talk to your family again and let them know how much this upsets you and how serious the consequences are if you accidently eat peanuts. Also its good proactice for you to read labels all the time because you never know when the ingredients will change.
Best of luck
