WHEAT ALLERGY ALERT
October 23, 2009

Unilever United States Inc. is recalling mispackaged tubs of “Breyers® All
Natural Cookies & Cream Ice Cream “and “Breyers® All Natural Mint
Chocolate Chip Ice Cream” due to undeclared wheat.

The tubs were mispackaged with lids describing the product as “Breyers®
All Natural Cookies and Cream Ice Cream” and the tub portion describing
the product as “Breyers® All Natural Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.” The
product inside the tubs is “Breyers® All Natural Cookies and Cream,” which
contains wheat.

The mispackaged product was distributed through retail stores in these
locations and adjoining areas: Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Florida,
Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico,
South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Trinidad.

The 1.5-quart (1.41 L) paperboard tubs bear UPC # 077567254245 and in
combination with “Best If Used By” dates of FEB1711GH, FEB1811GH, and
FEB1911GH.

Consumers may contact the company for a full refund. Consumers with
